Based at Woodlands Nursery in Bedfordshire, Eco Worms and sister company, UK Worms & Bait Farm breeds dendrobaena earthworms for fishing bait, composting and domestic recyling. At 1000m2, UK Worms & Bait Farm has the largest dedicated indoor breeding area in the UK. Our worms are cared for from hatching to shipping. We keep the worms in darkened containers at the nursery, heated to exactly the right temperature for growth. Because our worms are bred and fattened indoors, they are available all year round. Our worms are fed on a specially formulated layer palette, which is a calcium-rich grain developed for poultry. We store them in a quality eco-friendly soill. Not only is this good for the environment, it also produces the best worms. |
