Using Wormcasts

Worm casts make excellent fertilizers

The Benefits of Pure Wormcast:

100% chemical free.


Contains High levels of nutrients


Helps improve soil structure: by holding water and nutrients in light sandy soil; and by helping to aerate and drain heavier clay soils.

How to Use Pure Wormcast:

Adding to compost: add 5% - 10% by volume.

5% should be added to soil, mixed thoroughly and then backfilled when the tree or shrub has been planted out.
Compost green materials can be added at a rate of 1 part pure wormcast to 4 parts compost and applied at 25% volume in the planting hole.

Fruit and VegetablesFruit and Veg

0.25kg - 0.5kg per square metre (0. 5 - 1lb per square yard) should be applied to the surface and raked in before planting, or can be sprinkled around established plants in the Spring.

Beautiful lawnsTopdressings for Lawns

Add 10% by volume ensureing added Pure Wormcast is thoroughly mixed in with the top dressing before applying. Apply in SPring or Autumn after spiking.
